Why BANGS?
In 2009, Hannah traveled to Jiangsu Province in China to teach English. While there, she noticed that the workers and farmers wore a certain type of shoe. Wanting to make a difference in the world she saw, she began work on a company focused on social growth through retail.
BANGS is derived from the phonetic spelling of a Chinese word. Spelled B-A-N-G, it means "help"
Today, BANGS invests in six causes with non-profit partners across the world. The work spans across healthcare, education, finance and entrepreneurship.
