"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
~ Margaret Mead
Markets in Human Hope (MHH) is one of those classes at Darden that asks you about why you came to business school. It is about reconnecting with the passions and motivations that drive you to be a businessperson. Much like Ed Freeman's 'Conscious Capitalism', the course is as much about your philosophy of business, as the actual business of business.
This video is a series of presentations (8 second-year presenters) by MHH students about the problems and challenges that inspire them. These issues are complex, and in this presentation, our students were told not to offer solutions, but rather frame the problems with clarity and insight.
The rest of the coming year will be spent shaping possible solutions to these issues, as well as refining our understanding of the issues at play.
Enjoy!
